FedEx will undertake the transportation task of materials worth 700000 US dollars and transport more than 350000 pounds of disaster relief materials to the earth areas. The team members of FedEx, together with World Vision, will jointly raise and use its MD-11 cargo plane to load and transport 150000 pounds of disaster relief materials. The relief plane took off from Denver, Colorado, in the early morning of Monday (January 18) and arrived in the Dominican Republic later that day.
